Callie 2

Callie is originally from South Carolina and moved to Marietta in 2016 after getting engaged to now-husband, Tyler. She has an undergraduate degree in Genetics from Clemson University and is currently obtaining her MBA from Auburn University.

Tyler

Tyler is an Atlanta native, spending most of his youth in Kennesaw and now a resident of Marietta with wife, Callie Cooke. Growing up, Tyler was very active in sports and always had a passion for fitness. He is a graduate of Auburn University, where he received his Building Science degree in 2011. He has been a member of the CrossFit community since 2013.

Former D1 D2 college football athlete, Valdosta State and Kennesaw State graduate. Started doing crossfit to fill the void of sports, that quickly turned into wanting to help people be a better version of themselves. Least favorite movement any movement that starts or ends with the word burpee, favorite movement is the clean.

Matthew Morgan-Freeland

Gary

Gary has been following CrossFit since 2008, when he was introduced to the training methodology during his time in the Marines. He used CrossFit as part of a routine to maintain his fitness for the Reserves. He began by picking workouts that took little to no equipment that could be performed without a gym. In 2012, after getting home from his third deployment, he first visited a CrossFit Affiliate gym and fell in love with the atmosphere and community. After seeing the incredible impact CrossFit made on his own life and others at the gym, he sought to make CrossFit an ongoing part of his life by becoming a coach. Gary has coached at multiple CrossFit gyms in the area while balancing his duties as a Marine Reservist and continuing his education.

Gary Morton

Matthew

Matthew is an experienced distance and ultrarunner who has been logging miles for the last 25+ years. He has completed more than three dozen ultramarathons, ten 100-mile races and countless other shorter distance races. His 100-mile finishes include Leadville, Pine to Palm, Run Rabbit Run, Cascade Crest and a sub-20 hour finish at Ironhorse 100.
Running is a passion for Matthew that is deep rooted in his life story. After running an estimated 20,000 miles in training and races, he firmly believes that CrossFit was one of the best decisions he ever made in his running career. ``I’m not only a stronger runner, but an overall stronger person because of CrossFit.”
Matthew has an amazing son Tyler and is married to Coach Claire.

Matthew Grund

I became CrossFit L-1 certified in 2015 and also hope to earn my L-2 certification soon. My passion is nutrition, especially how it can impact performance both in and out of the gym. I am the office manager for a local physical therapy clinic, Athletes' Potential, which allows me to see and learn first-hand valuable movement and mobility based exercises to apply to my coaching. I am currently pursuing a nutrition certification through Precision Nutrition, which will allow me to apply my passion for nutrition into the ability to help people reach their performance and aesthetics goals, as well as a healthy and realistic relationship with food. I got married to our endurance coach, Matthew, in March of 2018, and we live in Marietta with our two cats and step-son, Tyler. And, since I'm sure everyone wants to know... my favorite WOD is Diane.

Laura is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and physical therapist. She’s been involved with CrossFit since the summer of 2013. The variety of functional movements CrossFit offers as well as its ability to enhance people’s quality of life drew Laura to becoming an active CrossFitter. As a former competitive gymnast, she has enjoyed engaging in CrossFit’s friendly competitive atmosphere while pursuing an active lifestyle. As a physical therapist, she has seen the widespread benefits that CrossFit movements have to offer the general population. And as a trainer at CrossFit Eleven 24, she hopes to help others realize the tremendous benefits CrossFit has to offer!
